La gente que veía las primeras imágenes en
movimiento que se proyectaban sobre la pared
del Salón Indien del Grand Café en la ciudad Lux,
París, el 22 de marzo de 1885 quedó fascinada por el
efecto milagroso del cinematógrafo.
Yo también en algún momento ví por primera vez
imágenes en una pantalla. Descubrí el cine de
manera directa. Mi padre, que era aficionado a la
fotografía puso en mis manos una cámara Keystone
de 8 mm para filmar mis primeras escenas.
Así nació mi afición por el cine, no como espectador
sino como realizador en ciernes.
Mi primera “producción” fue la creación de cortos hechos con las tiras cómicas dominicales. Las editaba uniéndolas con pegamento y enrollándolas en unos palitos, la cinta corría a través de la pantalla cortada en la base de una caja de zapatos, y…!a función comenzaba!
Qué ingenuidad! Pero también nacía mi creatividad.

Después vinieron muchos años de fotógrafía y de escribir para diferentes medios. Después uní la escritura y la fotografía para producir fotonovelas de corte romántico y aventurero. El del cine, tomó un rumbo definitivo cuando me inscribí en el Centro de Estudios Cinematográficos. Fundé el Taller Cinematográfico de la Casa del Lago. Inicié mi carrera como documentalista dentro de la industria, en lo social y antropológico. Ahora en mis últimos años de existencia, volví a la vieja afición de volar naves aéreas controladas. Se llaman drones y tienen la posibilidad de fotografiar y de grabar videos. Todas mis fantasías en un sólo aparato electrónico.
The people who saw the first moving images that
they projected onto the wall of Indien Hall of the
Grand Café in the Lux city, Paris, on March 22, of 1885, was fascinated by the miraculous effect of the cinematography.

This is how my hobby for cinema was born, not as a spectator but as a budding filmmaker.
My first "production" was the creation of shorts made with Sunday comic strips. I edited them by joining them with glue and rolling them into little sticks, the tape ran through the screen cut at the base of a shoebox, and ... the function started!
What ingenuity! But my creativity was also born.

Then came many years of photography and writing for different media. Then I joined the writing and photography to produce romantic and adventurous photo-novels. The film, took a definitive course when I enrolled in the Center for Cinematographic Studies. I founded the Cinematographic Workshop of Casa del Lago. I started my career as a documentalist within the industry, socially and anthropologically. Now in my last years of existence, I returned to the old hobby of flying controlled aircraft. They are called drones and have the ability to photograph and record videos. All my fantasies in a single electronic device.
